Rooted in memories of my grandmother’s garden

Turnip & Radish began with memories of the vegetables my grandmother grew when I was a child. She cared for a small garden beside her home and often shared what she harvested with neighbours or brought it to the market in a bamboo basket.

Handbuilt in clay, each piece carries a slightly different shape and character. The series reflects the generosity and joy she brought to others, and the way those memories continue to influence my work.
